2017 Limited Snow Modes

I made a cheat sheet to put in the truck for winter snow driving. We live on a dirt road, with snow, with a steep hill. I laminated the card and keep it under the visor.

Feel free to grade my homework:

H4F – Everyday
H4L – Extra traction not on dry
L4L – Slow speed only (Stop, N, Shift, both ways)
A-TRAC – L4L only very slow traction
DAC – L4L only downhill control
TRAC Off – rocking car back and forth (hold 3 sec)

Looks about right.

FWIW... you'll be surprised how far you can get just leaving it in 4HF, and letting the traction control sort things out.

Be safe out there.

I was amazed at the snow capabilities. Tried H4L once, but really wasn't needed. Running Blizzaks, too. We went through all the modes to feel them out, and I am jealous, since I am driving a 1995 Yukon everyday (with studs and locker).

The tires and electronics are just incredible together on snow and ice.
