2018 Rumor

I just talked to the local dealer and the rumor is the 2018 4Runner will look a lot like the Toyota Prado that you can get overseas. Looks like the Lexus GX460.

As far as more legitimate speculation goes, there's a good chance the next-gen runner will get Toyota's upcoming 8 speed transmission, perhaps even the 10 speed.

Judging by the complaints we get with the 6spd in the Tacoma and the reflashes for that and the 8spd in the Sienna, I'd hope not...
