This thread is a place for Secret Santa participants to write to Santa. Mention how good you’ve been and a couple specific things that are on your wish list for the Secret Santa here at T4R. This will help your SS find out what you are into aside from your 4runner (which is a given).

Examples: Outdoor products, camping gear, photography, Star Wars, sports, beer, or whatever else you may be into. Everyone has other loves and hobbies- this is intended to help someone pick that gift for SS this year.

Now, the fun part- Since this is a WISH list, include an item that would just be BA. Yeti cooler, ARB locker, whatever. You never know who or what someone is willing to do for others. In the past, members have given gift cards to Toys R Us- it really helped the family out in a big way for their kids, and was better for them than any other gift they could have been given from their SS.

First and foremost, I currently have a great job and am thankful for what it provides for me and my family, so if you want to select something from the list, that's great and will be appreciated or, choose a charitable cause for a donation that serves our countries heroes or helps to keep our lands open.

Some have said i've been a good kid this year. So, Santa, if you're reading, I would like a Gobi ladder for a 4th gen w/ no spoiler, a Dometic 35 or 40 fridge and an ARB single or dual air compressor.

I love reading Toyota 4x4 magazines, camping and overloading type material, and have no updated subscriptions.

I have two boys, carson (6) and hayden (2) who will be three (3) in novebmer.

Dear Santa,

I'll try to keep it short this year. I'm slowly working on fixing my new-to-me 2008 V8 Sport after trading in my 5th gen a few months ago. No build thread yet, but if you're looking for car related things I could still use a front passenger inner fender liner, a new turn signal switch with fogs without auto headlights, HID's, or a 2.5"/2" lift.

If you're looking for me, I'm single no kids, I wear an XL shirt, I work in I.T., I bought my first handgun this year (Taurus Millennium G2 9mm that was my sister's). I like video games, movies, books of all kinds. Sorry but I don't drink. I could use some stuff for a new camping bin; things like dishes, tools, etc. that are useful around camp.

Hope that's helpful! I'll appreciate whatever you decide to send me. I had a lot of fun with this last year and I hope this year will be just as fun!

Hey guys - stoked this is going on again this year. I'm newly married and building my repertoire of tools & other useful things, so these will be related to that for the most part.

- A small, high output flashlight to keep in the truck
- Mechanix Gloves for wrenching
- Racheting Box Wrench set - metric
- Set of 3/8" or 1/2" drive sockets - metric
If you have a favorite specialty tool or something like that, that'd be awesome. I definitely don't have it.

Staying true to the name, I love all things bison. Leather goods, meat shipments, educational bison books like American Buffalo by Steven Rinella (hint hint), etc. I went to the University of Oklahoma so I love all things Sooners. I also work in the Oil and Gas industry so I like images and trinkets involving oil and gas equipment.

If Santa is feeling REALLY generous this year, I would love a center console vault with a barrel key lock to store my new Sig P365 when I can't carry in my office:gun6:

Hey Santa -

Been a crazy year, as you know. Watched and wondered if I'd loose my home and 4Runner in the Carr Fire, thought I lost my money on Pelfrey's bankruptcy, and other little "bumps in the road of life." But karma prevailed and our home was spared, recently heard from both Chase and PayPal I was getting my funds back from Pelfreybilt, and realized we all have issues/problems to deal with and that I am a VERY fortunate person.

Considering where I am in life, I am really not in need of anything. Donations to Livestrong, Redding's Turtle Bay Exploration Park, Haven Humane, Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue, NorCal Newfoundland Health and Rescue, or any number of other charities would be better than sending me something for my truck.

I have a wife of 27yrs and 1 of my kids (16yr old boy) still at home.

"Frosty" my 2017 TRD Pro is about finished with the build. My rear swingout bumper/tire carrier should done next month and the truck has already made it's initial trip to the Rubicon. The truck is so far along (not much else to do to it), I just placed an offer on a '72 FJ40 to start another build - leaving the 4Runner to less technical off-road and as a K9 taxi -- and the FJ40 for my "Tahoe Toy" to play in the rocks.

If you feel you must - my t-shirt size is large, and I'm a big coffee drinker. I also like locally brewed pale ale's. Toyota 4Runner or Fj40 (always been a Land Cruiser fanatic) swag/garage decor. Anything for my dogs would be cool - they're big pups, so nothing a pug or miniture poodle would find fun to play with, as it might get lost in my Newf's jowls :lmao:

Hello Santa,

I am 24 years old and my wife and I both have decent jobs. This year my wife and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary, purchased our 1st house, and got our first two puppies! We do not have any kiddos yet. I dont need too much for my self. My 4R is stock (except a rack) and will likely stay that way because it works for me.

I have a sister-in-law who is special needs, a donation to Camp Summit (Paradise, TX) or Wings of Hope (Cleburne, TX) would mean the world to her and the others that attend. She also LOVES DVDs, any new animated movie that has come out in the last year or so and would be excited to recieve a present in the mail.

My wife loves reading and recently decided to start sewing and has mad some bandanas for our pups and hopes to start making bigger things like pillows and drapes soon.

I have an 11 month old GSD girl and a 7.5 month old yellow lab boy. They would love toys/treats.

Again, I dont need much of anything. If you would like to get something for me, I wear a Large shirt, I dont drink beer or coffee, but I do love camping, guns, tools, etc. I am a Jeep guy at heart, and still have my TJ. I did roll my TJ in Moab this September and had to have my seatbelt cut to get me out, so I guess my biggest gift "need" would be a pair of red Corbeau 4pt harnesses.

Last year santa was awesome. Secret santa sent me a couple of really fun items. But the jolly fat guy came through with a new job after I lost mine and that was the best. A year later and I have already been able to apply for a management position.

This year I dont need to ask for much.
1. Anything for hunting or firearms
2. Anything for offroading in the 4runner
3. If santa won the lottery... a lift for the 4runner

I am a 40+ year old guy and I have a 2003 V8 4Runner and a 1999 Taco (2.4L) in my garage.

Gift ideas (wide open to anything cooler that you come up with):
- Pelican brand insulated bottle
- Anything knife/blade related
- I'm starting to collect materials to begin bending/shaping kydex - any tools or accessories would be cool
- I am a whisky drinker - love bourbons, rye, etc.
- I have a bald head so it's always cold during winter and gets burned in the summer
- I wear a size large t-shirt
- I would also appreciate anything "local" to you - be it beer, food, liquor, clothing, etc.
- I prefer items that are/were made in the good old USA

Retired Navy Chief Corpsman and I am blessed with a very wonderful wife and 2 Blue Heelers. They are the reason I got rid of my BOSS 302 for my 2016 Trail 4Runner.

- I just got my ham radio license so anything related to someone getting started in ham radios would be appreciated. (KM6WTD)
- A Marine can never have too much USMC schwag.
- I'm a beer and bourbon fan (see earlier note about wanting to lose weight).
- Like OKT4RCpl, a snorkel for my 4Runner would be a lottery gift since my wife won't let me buy one either. :whip:

Dear Santa

Dear Santa,

I promise I have been good this year!

Dabo, my 2008 sr5, has had it rough but I suppose that just comes with the territory being 10 years old and rolling over 200,000 miles. Between the starter, alternator and new tires that have blown hes had a rough time. But he has never let me down when I needed him most.

As for me finishing college was my proudest accomplishment, followed by quickly advancing in my company since then.

That being said we would love nothing more than a donation to Habitat for Humanity of Pickens County, South Carolina or Habitat for Humanity International this year. I worked closely throughout college with Habitat and love its mission and ability to change lives. There is so much more to the program outside of supplying houses and I'd love to advance that.

We have put a lot of thought into gift ideas and while his build is far from finished, we don't have a long list. I will be putting 4 new tires on, sooner than expected, this weekend and looking forward would like to add a new lift hopefully this year and maybe some sliders. If santa magically won the lottery this year or has some sweet inside connections I have been looking at a 3/2 suspension lift to get off the leveling spacers I'm currently on. I also hope to get a set of rock sliders at some point in the future as I have landed on the passenger rocker panel the last two times I've been out.

As for me I wear a Large or XL on the smaller sized items.
Love black coffee and smooth whiskey. I recently got into wine as well.

I work in construction so anything construction related, especially vintage would be very cool.

I am very open to any cool ideas you come up with.
Local patches or stickers are always welcome!

Hmmm - what do I need??

Howdy,

I live in AZ and travel often to UT, CO and NM. I am a solo female explorer and can usually be seen road tripping with my dogs. I have an odd sense of humor and don't have much of a filter on my mouth so I am pretty good with any kind of unusual gift, lol, but a few ideas are below:

- anything dog related or for my dogs
- turkey jerky
- a good quality wax for black vehicles (I have some pretty good AZ pinstripe marks on my passenger side that need some loving, lol)
- T-shirt size Medium/large in women, Medium in men -black or dark gray
- Tree saver recovery strap
- maxtrax or TREDs
- Warn 3/8" synthethic winch rope to switch out my steel rope
- Swedish fish or sour patch kids
- If you are within a 4-5 hour drive of northern AZ, I'd love to meet for lunch or dinner and some 4Runner chat - I travel as often as I can with my dogs
- 5th Gen rear liftgate heavy gas shocks (liftgate won't stay open due to Gobi ladder and Rotopax now)
- a lock and roll hitch for my trailer would be nice or maybe some 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country ATs but I think that might be dipping into "Sugar Daddy" territory there, LOL!

Hope everyone has a great holiday season. I will likely be in southern UT camping around Thanksgiving and thinking of Anza Borrego again for Christmas!

Been halfway decent this year....... That should count for something :reddance:

In lieu of coals this year, I'd be beyond grateful for any of the below:

• Recovery gear for my upcoming trip - I currently only have a Bubba Rope
• My interior LEDs are about to die.......
• Looking to get the ARB twin compressor fairly soon

In reality, I'd be grateful with anything - it is the thought that counts! That being said, I enjoy off-roading, photography, camping, scuba diving, good dark (nitro beer), shirts in XXL, Rick and Morty (can I get a wubba lubba dub dub??)
