2018 T4R Limited Remote Start - 12Volt Solutions

I know there are a ton of thread related to remote start and I spent the last 30 min going through those via search and was not able to find what I was looking for.

I am specifically looking for info on the 12volt Solutions Remote start. It seems to address the range issues as it does not seem to use a separate module for receiving remote signal. I was on the the 3rd floor of my office looking out at my truck over 50 yards away and was able to lock/unlock my truck this AM. It also looks like it is pretty easy to install. It looks like they are making custom harness for DEI components. Their Smart Phone adapter looks pretty solid as well.

Has anyone had any experience with tis particular unit?

I installed this module on my 2017 limited. Took 10 minutes to install. I followed the YouTube video for our truck. Range is highly variable, but if you can lock from where you are, you should be able to start the truck.

I decided against their smartphone module as it looked cheap and made in China by no name company. I bought my own DEI SmartStart module. I have everything wired up, just waiting for the weather to get better before I can add it for control from my phone.

Compustar makes a T-Harness for push to start and you can get it installed for around $300, also comes with a fob also from Best Buy. You can also control the starter with the OEM remote, 3x lock
