2018 TRD Pro colors

Haven't you been banned here once before? Go away troll...

He's def trolling since nobody can be that butthurt over a TRD Pro. Then again, with the political climate, I wouldn't be surprised with all the snowflakes out there. Maybe people get it because they want something different? That's why I got it, not to mention the best resale value I've even seen on anything under $50K. You can buy a new one and trade in every year without losing much, if anything. I lose count over the 4Runners I see in a week (they are pretty much purchased as appliances) and only the rare, once or twice a year TRD Pro sighting is noticeable and a head turner.

Bump on the photoshop request with the color! Need to get with the times and learn how to do this stuff myself.

Bump again for the photoshop request. I don't care what model is used for it, I just want to see the color while keeping on the thread topic.

I was offered 4K under MSRP on a 4 year old truck with a 0% apr and $1500 under MSRP on a new TRDOR. Your point? (Edit: with scratches)

FWIW, I was offered (private party) about $5k over MSRP for my almost new Cement TRD Pro with 500 miles. That's the So Cal market for these things, which I think is really dumb and why I went out of state to get it. I paid MSRP for mine, and I've never paid more than invoice for cars in the past.

When I initially wanted a 4Runner, I planned to get a TRD Off Road because i knew I could build a better rig than a Pro for the same money. But due to the resale market for the Pro, my desire for the Cement color, and the fact that Cement will only be made in 2017, I decided to get the TRD Pro. Even after tax/title/license/shipping, I can practically drive the thing for free for a while. Inferno TRD Pros in this area are very hard to find and have very high resale value when you do find them. Other than the poor gas mileage, I'm really enjoying it though and don't see myself getting rid of it any time soon.

My point was that there is a financial case for buying a trd pro vs an off road etc if you don't plan to mod and might trade out in a year or two.

I realize the 4Runner is an ideal truck to buy and drive for many years but there is some value in being able to exit after a year or two for no loss at all.

1500 off? I think you can do better but maybe that's a good deal on the west coast.

I was inquiring about an LC 200 and I was about 1500 under invoice but they are obviously easier to get a deal on. Just saying the price was competitive as the car wasn't in stock and yes, my car has some scratches and dings too.

No I have never been banned here...why would I be banned for posting my opinion and facts and why do you think I am a troll??? Just because you don't share my opinion? :sadwave:

I deleted my response to your bull shit post above...

I agree. Other wise I think the Pro is a ripoff. :peep: :bored:

Well after thinking about it and given the highly sensitive nature of any opinion criticizing the Pro I should probably state that, in my case, I thought it was a ripoff because I plan on keeping my 4Runner for a long time. An in that time I will most likely be replacing major systems, such as suspension, etc. I feel aftermarket is the way to go on major mods....So IN MY CASE I feel the Pro was a ripoff given the facts listed above and in my other posts. YMMV. Back on topic...They come in nice colors though! And I look forward to whatever "special" color comes up in the future.

I think that is an important point to note. A few years ago, before the TRDP was even a thought in someone head, most folks here were about building, or touring, or working on trucks. The climate has changed to this really weird I bought this then sold it for what I bought it for thing. The TRD Pro thread was actually pretty cool 954 pages ago, now all anyone talks about there is where to buy one and how much they paid, meanwhile the rest of us are like lol WTF is that all they talk about? :D

Its like a WRX forum now or something.

I am know I could do better :) I didn't even open my mouth and that was what was presented to me... while buying wiper blade refills. :noidea:

lol you should know by now this kind of sh!t always digresses into this.

This place was a hell of a lot less divisive before they came out with this trim level.

I completely understand. The trd models have brought a lot of people onto this forum who otherwise wouldn't be here. I wasn't one of them. I planned on buying a trail premium kdss in classic silver and then pivoted last minute because I fancied the quicksand color.

And yes price discussions are tiresome. It's a problem on another forum I frequent and it's actually forbidden per the forum rules there.

Enjoy your summer.

I can't photoshop for shit or I would give it a run.

lol...

Yeah they seem to be following FJ colors, apart from Inferno. I would expect some wonderful green next year then :biggrin1:
