I wasn't sure where to post this so I thought I'd start here. Today our 4 month old 2019 Nightshade was hit by a neighbor pulling out of his driveway.
We were driving at about 40mph down the main road and he pulled right into the side of us. 99% of the impact was taken directly by the rear passenger wheel. It took about 20 minutes to go flat and the rim is somewhat trashed but I wanted to get opinions on other damage that might be there. I'm not sure the adjuster can do a proper estimate given that the only physical damage is to the wheel and a tiny bit on the rear qtr panel. I'm sure there is a lot more that could be going beyond the wheel.
I'd also be interested in any thoughts/experience with diminished value (CO is a diminished value state) and how to deal with insurance (we both have AllState).
Thanks in advance!!!
