No. One bogus article lit that fire.

I thought I had read the same article and wondered "how?" if the rims were the same.

The 2019 Toyota website shows the track for the Pro as 0.9" wider than the other models. The following specs were the same for the 2018 and 2017 models. So no "reported" or "official" difference.

TRD Off Road 63.2"
SR5 63.2"
TRD PRO 64.1"

However, empirically, and subject to field variability, my 2017 sure looks like it has a narrower track than the 2019 based on where the wheels sit under the fender in this photo. I didn't want to measure in front of my salesperson. My truck definitely rides lower (some added weight probably makes a bit of difference). Not enough evidence to support a claim that the track is wider on the 2019's.

Question regarding the 2019 4Runner TRD Pro: Will a Gobi Ladder fit with the stock Roof Rack?

Reason I ask is because it looks like the new "FJ" style roof rack protrudes farther on the roof than previous years. And this may prevent the rear hatch from opening fully with a Gobi Ladder installed?

Not sure if anyone saw my original question regarding the Gobi Ladder and the 2019 TRD Pro "FJ" style roof rack...

I sent an email to Gobi and I heard back today and according to them: "The ladder will not fit with the 2019 TRD pro rack."

Opinions Welcomed

I wish they would have opted for these badges like the Tacoma TRDP. Still indecisive on if they should be on the door, or the C-Pillar instead of the original emblems. Extra 5hp per side though right?
