Getting a small window to say something, big problem, but that black block under neath the Toyota branded black cross beam is way, waaayyyy too ugly and ruins the car so much to the point where they’ve completely destroyed that front end design with its legacy grille. As a dying cancer patient I wouldn’t accept that, Nobody wants a license plate mount or god forbid a horrible in the way get damaged sensor cluster directly taking wind and bugs etc for smart cruise and pedestrians, STUPID & UGLY, STOP fixing what isn’t broken, 2016 grille is the best with quicksand color, all colors have been pretty awful since attitude black & quicksand disappeared. No one wants flakes in their black 4runners.

Someone please tell me that this ugly as hell front end making me givie up on the 4Runner is not real.

What the hell is that ugliness!? Finally get nice headlights and push button start and they ruin it by messing up our favorite part about how the damn thing looks, seriously.... Sick Sequel Syndrome.

LEAVE THE BLACK MESH GRILLE ALONE !!!!!

Thread is misplaced.

Looking for it, but didn’t see one that covered the upcoming trd. If that is indeed what I think it is Illnpassnkn that as a dying young man for real.

It’s been nagging at me since I saw it, and just really got to me, like what ifnthey did that to the Avalon touring & trd? Kills it. It’s that much of a dealbreaker, why do they always ruin good things. Forgive my typing btw, smartphone is a nightmare to work with.

Show car

Someone alluded to the NY auto show coming up. See what they bring for that, if it's different than the Chicago version, which was clearly a "show" truck. I don't know if you have any experience with trade shows, but what they show is sometimes nothing like what you'll get in the future. My experience was with Computers, software and a few electronics. Sometimes things on stage were dummy units for backstage stuff. The Chicago TRD was, to me, a stage truck. They just threw something together to represent the changes, but not a production version. It may look completely different in the final version, or...as you said, it my look like butt!

idk i personally don’t mind it ... despite being a 2020 trdp owner, only disappointment i have is that i can’t install lo-pro winch bumper with a pull bar..
