2020 winch/bumper options?

Hi all,

Have a 2020 venture and am contemplating adding a winch to my T4R. Looking at a setup something like this:

4runnermods — TMT UnderGuard Winch bumper

What winch would I want and can I get it to work on a 2020 with the extra electronic do-dads? Other discreet-ish bumper options would be great if you know of some.

So far I haven’t had a need for a winch (tried to get a little stuck in the snow and sand but no luck so far lol). Kinda want to have some more fun and see at what point I get stuck, but also want a way out (have an ARB snatch strap and recovery boards already).

Would definitely appreciate some suggestions if you’ve been down the same road!

If i can recall, the low profile style bumpers do not affect the operation of the TSS system.

You have many options to choose from when it comes to Lo-Pro style bumpers such as: C4, Southern Style offroad, Relentless Fabs, and OGS.

I think most 10k winches fit in them no issues. I personally have a Warn VR10s installed in my OGS. Just needed to move the power steering lines a little (not difficult compared to the bumper install/trim)

I’m thinking the C4 low pro with the 30” light bar and the high bull bar.
Along with the 12k harbor freight Apex synthetic winch.

Anyone have experience with the HF winch?

I also have a 2020 Venture.

On Wednesday I’m getting an SSO Lo Pro bumper with bull bar, VisionX light bar, and Come zip winch installed.

Was debating between ComeUp and Warn and went with come up for some extra features

Southern Style Offroad has completely solved the issue of the bar being in the way of the TSS sensor. Theirs easily accepts a 10K# winch too.

How discreet do you want it?

I just got an SSO bumper installed on my 2020 Venture Edition with TSS. confirmed the Bull bar clears the sensor
