I think people who are thinking of purchasing these headlights would want to know as much information as possible before making their decision. I know I did when I was initially considering picking up a set.

Another datapoint to consider, the OEM LED headlights have 30% less hot spot output when compared to Morimoto's XB LED headlights.
Those guys are still using the same old incandescent lux meter to check LED output huh?
I wonder how the LED headlights stack up against a halogen lamp with an H9 bulb installed. It's funny, a few years ago I was all hot to trot to get "newer looking" cool blue LED lights (even got some Morimoto drop-in bulbs and later pulled them out).
Now I find myself really enjoying the "older" warm lighting tint of halogen, it's easier on the eyes. Even my auxiliary driving lights are swapped to get that nice buttery 4000K color. And they'll shed wet snow on my Mammoth and Baldy trips.
Did you get a chance to install these yet? I found an awesome deal on a nightshade bi-led set that I plan to install in my 2018 sr5. Wondering how you get around not connecting the high beam function? Also can I plug my ‘18 drl/high directly into the ‘21 drl and still have the high beam function? I noticed they are they same hb3/9005 bulb.

I did get them installed. There is an extra plug that Alex did for the hi beams if I decide to do my part to make them work. Still unclear how to do that though since I'm not experienced with electrical.
possible to provide pictures of your install. Curious about the extra wire and where it needs to be connected to make the hi beams work.

I don't have any pics, but I know I would have to wire something for the extra plug.
Do you just piggy back / slice off another one?
Do you still have the drl/high beam function from your halogen bulb?

Picked up a set of 21 OEM headlights and fog lights from a member here. The install took about 45 minutes taking my time. It was a straight forward install and no issues. The cut off lines did line up for the most part compared to the old halogen lights but might need some adjustment.

Same. This guy in a low sedan was on the other side of the intersection from me one night and turned his brights on and kept them on. I flicked mine on to show him what a high beam really was, then back down. He left his on so I just put mine back on.
Next step is one of those remote controlled spotlights you can aim, like on bucket trucks and whatnot. Now they come with a little remote you can use in or outside of the cab.

My 2021 4runner lights were way too high.
I use this industrial park nearby my home to check my headlights often.
Pull up within inches of a building. Mark the top of the Hotspot with painters tape. Stretch out my measuring tape to 25 feet. Back up to the end of the tape and adjust so that top of cutoffs are 2 inches below tape.
Same story with my wife's 2021 Sienna. The lights were so high that you could not see in front of the vehicle. I adjusted hers to 1 inch below the hotspot on her vehicle since her headlights sit lower.
I'm not sure what's going on but perhaps there are not enough techs aiming the headlights from the factory.

Was it easily as swapping the headlamp connectors from the older projector headlamps with the 21 (LED) ones and aiming them?
I bought them off a member here who purchased from Alex who does the pin swap. These were straight plug and play and install took about 45 minutes taking my time. I'll need to adjust the height as I think they might be too high. If wanting to do the swap I do recommend it, the OEM headlights and fog lights look great and perform better.
update:
did lower them a turn or so without measuring, nothing too drastic though. I'll test them again this evening and eventually measure distance from the garage door and proper height recommendations.
