2023 Solar Octane TRD Pro

I have one incoming but after seeing in real life, not sure I can pull it off. Picture really shows it as dark orange almost reddish but in real life it's as pumpkin orange as pumpkin gets.

I could not capture the true color at all with my iPhone. This is how I'd hoped it to be in real life.

it's nice but I prefer Barcelona Red if it's going to be red. This reminds me of the 85 Mustang I had.

yes, I wish it actually looked like this in the picture and looked like inferno, but it doesn't at all. In real life it looks like the orange on a 77 celica. Or a pumpkin

My solar octane just arrived at the Port of NY today. Should be at the dealership in a couple of weeks. Was able to get it at MSRP. I got on a waiting list in June and wasn't sure if I'd like it once seeing it in person. I'm currently driving a Voodoo blue PRO. I went to another dealership that had one, just to see it in person and I LOVED it! Color is subjective. I spent my life driving black, white, silver and grey cars, so I'm switching it up. I got more compliments on my voodoo blue PRO than any other vehicle I've ever owned. The solar octane certainly pops! This is a pic of one sitting on that other dealership's showroom floor.

I like it. It’s a bit flashy for me, but I think it's a cool color and actually like it better than last year’s lime green.

I think if you keep the vehicle for a year or two - fine. More than that, it may get old.....my 2 cents

I truly believe Solar Octane is something special. But it’s not for everyone. I’d take it over Lime Rush for sure though. It’s striking when the sunlight hits, but in normal non-direct sunlight settings, it leans peachy ORANGE…

OP: new finish is high glossy. couple times carwash will dull it and color looks different. cover it with ppf, or hand wash only and wax frequently. If you care.

Thanks for taking that pic. I have a BR Trail Edition and a '23 Pro in Solar Octane on order. The color representation has been all over the place with Solar Octane, but at least having the datum of BR in the background, I can imagine the tone differences in the two.

I wasn’t sure How much I was going to like it. It looks nice. But, could I live with it. After picking it up…I must say…it is a win. Catch it right in the light, you will get some green sparkles in there. Like Lime Rush, it is definitely not for all though.

I think inferno had a more burnt tone to it. This seems to have a candy tone.

Drove by the local dealer to see what’s happening and ran across this. It was available as of one hour ago. I talked to a salesman and they though it was reserved but a deposit was not made. I am not associated in any way with this dealer. Sounded like it was at retail. Hope this helps somebody. Located in Rock Hill Sc, just south of Charlotte.
