'23 40th Anniversary - assuming that means no 6th gen in '23?

I can't see them releasing the 6th gen 4runner and 4th gen tacoma in the same model year. The Tacoma will be released first. We need to start a pool on here as to when it will be redesigned and where it will be made.

Put me in for 4R in 2025, made in Mexico for our market, and sportn' a fancy new hybrid "motor". These were my thought at least for 2023 originally which is why i went ahead and got a 2022 4R.

Is this the one at St Charles Toyota? I saw it Friday as well as I was passing by on North Ave.
If so, not even a real 40th anniversary, it’s a 22 with 8k miles and is noted as being a STC ( St Charles Toyota) custom. Seems to be a TRD
Off-Road on which they added the stripes, bronze TRD Wheels, and for some reason a PRO roof rack. If I remember reading correctly the 40th anniversary is based on SR5 premium.

If the dealership did that, I can't imagine Toyota would be overly pleased. While I personally think the looks of the 40th Anniversary Edition is a joke, Toyota probably takes it very seriously.

...besides, imagine if every Toyota dealership Alibaba'd an SR5 or three to look like one of the "Limited Edition" models. Instead of being "rare," they'd be all over the damn place.

I can now see why Alibaba had $110B in revenue. Toyota dealerships are the ones buying their product.

Looks like they did. Even admit it in the description " STC CUSTOMIZED * OEM TRD GRILL * FULLY TINTED * HERITAGE STRIPES."

Dealerships are literally the worst.
