Hey guys,
I just started this maintenance thread out, since I will be off work for almost 3 weeks starting Mid December. (I work in the O&G industry).
I bought this from the original owner, and although he was the one who put all these quality parts in the car, i don't know how well it was maintained.
The 4runner has 265,xxx Km ( 164,xxx Miles), I drive almost 1000km every week at highway speeds of 100-130 km/h, I think should be at 268,xxx km by mid December. Im pretty sure a lot of the fluids need to be drained or serviced.
Things on top of my head that I Plan to do within the 2 weeks
1) New 13WL Rotors and/ Brake Pads
2) Flush out fluids
ower Steering, Brakes, Coolant, Fresh Oil Change...what else?
3) Replace the Valve Cover Gaskets, been leaking for a year now
4) Spark plugs and wires?
5) I just replaced my front, transfer case and rear diff fluids at around 239,000km should I do these while im at it?
6. New air Filter ( what brand? )
7. Install Protherane 26mm Front Sway bar Bushing Kit
All accessory belts have been replace last year.
Things I will be doing once summer comes rolling in:
1. Front steering components;LBJ, Tie Rod Ends, Aftermarket Upper control arms
2. Timing Belt Kit because the rate im going i should hit 300,000 km by summer.
If anyone has info on where to get this parts shipped to Canada and links to the parts above, besides the fluids, it would be really helpful.
