275/70r17 BFG A/T KO2 rub on stock Trail

Hey guys is anybody running 275/70r17 BFG AT KO2's on a stock trail? If so, are you experiencing any rub? I've looked at the tire fitment guide, and it states that there is no rub with that tire, but I've also searched some previous threads on here and some have said they are rubbing. Also, if you have any pics of that size on your runner id love to see em. Thanks

I run Cooper ST Maxx in that size without any issue...

I have 285 with no rub. I remember reading somewhere on here it also comes down to alignment. A specific alignment to your 4Runner should help

275 BFG KO2. Only time I have been able to get rub is when the truck was loaded up and I was going down a set or real steep switchbacks. It was a very slight rub when I would turn right going down hill. Nothing uphill or turning left. Very unusual driving circumstances and would not let it discourage you, if I had to do it again I would probably go 285 and deal with the slight rub.

Run that size on my stock trail, no problem but not on the stock wheels. I have the sema wheels on mine.

I run 275 E rated K02's on TRD Pro wheels on my limited. It did rub when turning but it was simple fix, the only thing I had to do was take the bolts out of the bottom front of the front fender liners and slide them forward a bit and run the screws back in. That's it, I've taken it off roading and haven't had it rub on anything since.

I have a 2016 Trail also. How these work out for you. From all my readings ive come to this conclusion.

1. 275 wont rub on Trail Wheels with stock suspension and setup
2. 275 on Pro Wheels will rub a little in most cases
3. Stick with c rating for comfort

Does any rub or have to remove their mud flaps on their Trail stock rim and stock suspension setup? Im only talking Trail wheels not TRD Pro wheels.

Where are you finding those in a 275 size with a c rating? I’m only seeing them in an e

Only thing that is making me question the 275 is the E rating. Not sure I want to add an extra 30.8 lbs of tires with the E rating over the C :noidea:

I have BFG AT KO2s in 275 trail... well now TRD OR stock rims suspension etc. no rub at all, the weight also doesn't seem too noticeable to me. the Cooper Discoverer ST/Maxx was my second choice, pretty sure I would have been happy either way.
