2in Spacer lift is it worth me doing it ?

I have been reading posts on this fourm and I can't find the answer, maybe someone can answer this question.
I want to level my front end with a 2in spacer and but bigger tires on it.
What size can I fit with out trimming or removing my mud flaps, I can't find the answer.
To me it looks like only stock size or am I wrong ?

A front spacer will do more to affect the look of your ride than it will to affect what tires fit. I'd pick a tire/wheel combination and work backwards from there to see what may or may not fit. Better yet, search for anyone who is using the same combination and see what results they get.

Truth is the information is there and in various other threads. I know because I've read them over the last week as I was in the same position as you. It is definitely not a straight answer which is probably why your "buddy" up there was a little frustrated.

But that being said, I can't link you to all of the threads at the moment. Basically to answer your question of what the biggest size you can fit without making adjustments: It depends. What wheels, what tire brands are you looking at, etc. From what I've read/gathered over the last week, everyone seems to have a different outcome. Some people throw on 285/70/17's with minimal rubbing easily fixed with a fender liner mod after a leveling kit, while others seem to have to do some more intense mods. It seems to be very YMMV with the 285/70/17's. You can probably go 275/70/17 without doing anything. Please note the "probably". I have a 2" Rough Country Leveling Kit on my 4R and decided to go with the 285's and make the proper adjustments after.

So to summarize: it depends.

What rims are you running (offset, backspacing, diameter)? Are you on stock suspension? Are you running armor (extra weight)? Just a few of the variables to consider. You won't get the same outcome as everyone else for the variety of reasons I listed above. There are hundreds if not thousands of post lingering around the forums regarding lifts/leveling kits and tire sizes. You may not be able to find the perfect scenario to match yours exactly, but you should be able to scrape together a few different threads and get a very good idea of what you can run.

I've had a 2" spacer on mine for almost a year now and do some medium/med-light wheeling every so often.
I did it to level the front as I want to do all the suspension work at once (and don't have the $$ for everything right now).

Thank you all for your help, I guess it's no black and white as I hoped . I plan on using my stock TRD rims .
I guess I'll just level it and put a more aggressive tire stock size tires .
So my exit question is what tire company, tires run larger than the rest ?

fyi, the stock rake is a 1 inch drop in font. If you want to level your ride, you'll need a 1 inch spacer in front. If you have saggy springs or extra weight in front like a steel bumper and plan on only adding spacers, you may need a larger spacer.

You'll also need an alignment.

There are tons of guys who run 275/70/17's with the stock rims, no lift. I'd be willing to bet that you could get away with it, but don't take my word. Search around a little bit and see what other guys are saying about that tire size.

A tire size is a tire size, regardless of the company making it. There may be very negligible rolling diameter differences between brands based on how aggressive the tread is. I believe that is what you are asking...but I may be wrong.

I have a 18 TRD all stock , I measured it on a flat surface and it's a 2in difference from the front to the back . It's 20inch's from the center of the wheel to the top fender lip in the front and 22inch's in the rear.
Did I measure in the wrong place ?

No, it's that the rear fender well is an inch taller than the front. If you lift it so the fender wells measure equally, the vehicle will have a reverse rake.
