Just picked a 93 SR5 ... and I love it.
Two issues: I'm 6'1" and seem to have to recline quite far to have ample headroom -- makes it hard to see stoplights. This is not the best for driving and cuts legroom in the back seat. Is there a way to lower the seat? Another seat I could use to replace the stock seat?
I also need to upgrade my roof racks. I have the factory racks and a sunroof. I've read all the rack threads I could find here, but no luck.
Here's my concern: after-market racks seem to mount inside door sills -- that puts the rack too far forward and over my sunroof. I'm looking at 300lbs or so capacity -- do any of the after-market systems that use the factory rails work with that kind of load?
I guess what I'm saying is, I like the location of the factory racks, but I need them to be beefier.
