2wd to 4wd conversion questions

All the same stuff people told me. Do it if you want to do it. They're just not as bold as us.

Thanks, reading that made me feel a lot better. I know im not alone in my 4runner obsession. Just the thought of looking down and seeing that 4wd shifter in my runner tickles my pickle. One day....one day.

IMO I would skip the factory 4x4 upgrade and go straight to a solid axle swap. Link it and you will be the envy of the stock 4x4 guys and will have a beast of a rig. You will still need the J shift transfer case and 4WD transmission but the rest will be much easier to find/ new parts.

Just my 2 cents and what I would do to my 4x4 if I had the time/ money.
