you want power? you have 12k to back it up?
supra 2jz, their is a 10 second 1/4 2000 sr5 4runner with a twin turbo setup with the 2jz.
you can turbo the 3.4 too but different issues with different setups is all i have to say.
if you want more power, get a sports car!

Not to start a flame war on superchargers, but I would say that the lifespan of a 3.4l is reduced when force inducted. Not to mention the possibility of the supercharger itself failing, and the added stress on the drivetrain.

Like I said, what evidence do you have for your comments. I will let you know if it happens. so far it runs great. Most of the time the supercharger doesn't even kick in unless you need the extra power. Superchargers have been used for many years on different motors. If I was using it to drag race, that would probably create problems. Several times I have been passing cars on a two lane road and just didn't have the power. Now, I don't have to worry about it now.
