Quick answers
  • Fits: 2010-2024 4Runner, 4WD only.
  • KDSS: not compatible with KDSS. (Our rock sliders do fit KDSS. The skids don't.)
  • Material: 3/16" steel or 1/4" 5052 aluminum, your choice. The lower control arm skids are always powder-coated steel. The transfer case crossbar is always steel.
  • Finish: black semi-gloss powder coat.
  • Install: 100% bolt-on, no drilling or cutting. Factory + Grade 8 hardware. About 2-4 hours with basic hand tools. A second person helps.
  • Fuel tank skid: uses the bolts that come with the TRD Off-Road fuel tank straps.
  • Lifts: works with most aftermarket suspension lifts. Verify fitment on custom or extreme builds.
  • Made: fabricated in-house in Fort Worth, Texas.
Steel or aluminum?
  • Steel: takes hard rock hits best. Heavier.
  • Aluminum: much lighter and won't rust. Dents easier on sharp rocks.
If you drag the belly on rocks a lot, go steel. If it's mostly trails, gravel and overlanding, aluminum saves the weight.
