So I bought a light bar off of Amazon, and I’ll be honest I’m pretty illiterate when it comes to wiring and electrical stuff. I know I need to get a wiring harness, and a switch. But does anyone have good write up for installing the light bar on my front bumper? Lightbar in question is this,

Rigidhorse 42 Inch LED Light Bar... Amazon.com: Rigidhorse 42 Inch LED Light Bar Single Row Flood & Spot Beam Combo 40000LM Off Road LED Light Bar Driving Light for Jeep Pickup SUV ATV UTV Truck Roof Bumper: Automotive

Most put 42" light bars on top of their roof at the top of the windshield. Wish I could help. I've had a light bar from Amazon the same size for 6 mos and never installed it lol.

Well first off, it is going to pull 240 watts. that's a Chunk. So I would wire it Straight to the battery, put a fuse within 2" of the hot (+) wire coming off the battery - Safety First! run your + wire carefully (strap it down along the way) so it doesn't rub and wear thru down the road up to where you want to mount the lights. negative can come from any good ground inside vehicle, like at steering column, one of the big bolts. the switch attaches somewhere nearby in your dash to the negative wire, (from ground source thru switch to lights).

Now the bar you bought is Flat. Where do you want to mount it? I would just test out where it fits but keep in mind what it might hit depending on where it's placed. All down hill from there. Luck.
