Going to check out a 3rd gen tomorrow and got some pictures of the frame. Looks pretty good overall but the welds look a bit rusty. Looking for opinions. 4runner is priced right just need some opinions on how long this frame is going to last before needing major work done.

Take a wire brush and clean off the rust and then paint it with chassis saver or por 15 and it will be fine. That's not even close to being bad and I don't think there is nothing to worry about. FYI this would be better in the 3rd gen section since you're asking about a 3rd gen. Good luck!

Thats what I wanted to hear. Tired of looking for the right 3rd gen! Thanks thread has been moved to 3rd gen section.

Yeah, mine looks like that and she's a good truck. One of these days I'll get Stubbs to cleaning up the bottom.

Yeah doesn't look bad at all, but obviously take a bright fash light and get under it when you get there. The lower control arm mounts loom solid but give em a good look, feel to be sure.
