so that light bar mounts to roof of runner? to the stock roof rack or do i have to drill holes?

The bar mounts in the door jam behind the upper weather stripping with two screws on each side, though i'm sure it could be modified to mount to the stock roof rack. But that's a matter of fabrication and a bit of cleverness

So you've gotta drill the holes for it?

yes the same way you would for the Carr light bar's gutterless mount system, except that this would be more solid. or not at all if you fabricate a way to attach it to the factory roof rack rails.

this is NOT a picture of my light bar, this is a picture of a carr gutterless mount system, and a cb radio antenna mount. what this DOES show is the area in which the holes would need to be drilled to attach the light bar.
