Honestly, anywhere in the central Texas area. I know hidden falls the best but I am fine with venturing out. I have compiled a list of decently known parks I would try (as long as they aren't mainly mud parks. I don't care for mud)

rock creek in lipan, tx
campbell trails in tx
bridgeport, tx off road park
canyons off road park near fredericksburg, tx
creekside off road ranch in splendora, tx
barnwell mountain in gilmer, tx
lake meredith national park in fritch, tx
down south off road in crosby, tx
katemcy rocks north of mason, tx
long ranch orv park in llano, tx
brazos valley off road ranch brian, tx

rock creek in lipan, tx - closed
bridgeport, tx off road park - good park but hard to say it is worth a long drive
canyons off road park near fredericksburg, tx - not sure if open
barnwell mountain in gilmer, tx - good park but come ready for it
katemcy rocks north of mason, tx - old Katemcy is closed, now operating K2 which is not at the same location but close
long ranch orv park in llano, tx - had heard it was closing but could not confirm
brazos valley off road ranch brian, tx - I believe you have to be invited or part of the group out there

I am surprised you left off the biggest park in central Texas - Hidden Falls. That place is big, central to all parts of Texas, and not badly priced for what you get. It is located ~5 miles east of Marble Falls. I plan on going there for an overnight trip this fall with my '87 4Runner trail toy.

Well hell... Lol

I know a guy that is a head of BVORR so getting in won't be an issue.
And I didn't leave it off. Check the first paragraph of the post you quoted ;)

The Bridgeport OHV park isn't all that bad, been out there a time or two.

I like Bridgeport and go there quiet a bit; but I would feel bad having someone drive up from San Antonio or Houston for it.

I'll stay subscribed to see if I can make this trip. I will be installing an e-locker in my '01 4Runner after July 4th so I want to get it back out and see how it wheels with a locker and better gears.

Tx_shooter that's only about 2 weeks away so that's exciting for you. I am hoping to have my suspension put in by then. That needs to happen before I go wheeling though. That junk is BLOWN!

Yeah; I picked up the rear axle w/ locker and front locker, wiring harness, and a few other odds and ends for $550. I plan to swap the rear axle first and drop the front driveshaft until I get the front axle installed the following weekend. I am looking forward to the 4.30 gears and locker.

I have a locker but idk if it's 4.10s or 4.30s TBH. Haven't taken it apart to count or done a spin test as I haven't felt the need to go by a jack and bother a friend haha

I am curious to see what it does to my MPG once I get the new gears installed. I drive ~35k miles a year so I hope it is not too big of a hit.

It's so minor I doubt you'd really notice. I got 13.56 when towing my 2015 Corolla behind it hahah

Hopefully that is the case. I am really happy averaging 17-18 mpg on the why with my supercharger. Around town my 14mpg is okay enough so I do not lose my mind.
