Alright, so i had the joy of taking my calipers off to put some tundra ones on but i snapped a caliper bolt and spent forever trying to get it out but i gave up after i tryed everything and figure i should get a new spindle. I cant seem to find a place to get a brand new one and what i wanted and will do is go to a junkyard and pull one off, my question is does it have to be a 4wd spindle, i have heard that the 2wd ones have a cap that you can remove so you can use it for a 4wd i want to confirm if this is true so i dont waste my time at the junkyard, and if anyone knows where i could get a new one, it the passenger side spindle 4wd.

Machine shop is where I go for the I'm not gonna get it situations.
With or without ABS matters. Looks like they're still available new if you want to spend the dough, and it doesn't look like it matters if 2 or 4wd but don't quote me on that.

When you do it, get the spindle upgrade welded on. Best $100 you'll ever spend.

Yeah 2 or 4W should the be the same. Same bearings and seals. There is a cap behind (inside side) the bearing that is removed. I think the hub is different though, since the 2wd shouldn't have splines, but I'm not 100% on that. I'd grab one from a junkyard without hesitation.
