3rd Gens Too Old Now?

When it was snowy here last Winter and everyone was using 4x4s to get to work, dude asked me how old my truck was. He couldn't believe it was that old. He asked me what had gone wrong, and I told him the rear heater pipes corroded through (I swapped them for copper) and the tailgate struts went (swapped for new).

He'd got a 2005 Land Rover Defender 90 (90 is the swb one). I asked him what had gone wrong in that, as it's basically a tractor with a bench seat.

He's still telling me.

Yeah, the 3rd gens look a little dated but they are really holding up well after these years and is definetly getting a "classic" Toyota look and feel and I still draw compliments on mine from all types of car and non-car people.

Here's the most recent pic from our camping trip and it even outwheeled a couple Jeeps thanks the rear locker.
