My brother has an 89 Auto 3.0 4runner and we're looking to swap the transmission as it has been having alot of shifting problems and the trans fluid is black. My situation is can the 90-95 Automatic transmission be used. I understand it will bolt up but I heard there were a slight difference in the speed sensor cable. Can someone confirm this.
