IMO runners weren't meant to be dropped, serves no purpose and it looks EXTREMELY CHEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZY.

i have a 2wd. lowering 4runners looks badass. if i do get the springs :50cal:
what else would i have to change on my 4runner in order to drop it and have a good ride? thankyou

well I don't know too much but I would assume it is along the line of changing the suspension of any automobile, along with the springs you would probably need different shocks for a stiffer dampening and I would get sway bars but beyond this you should talk to someone with a little more experience, what you don't want is the stupid bouncing that comes with a wrong suspension set up. You still haven't clue us in on where are the springs available at? There's a guy on another board with some Volks Racing in 18" with only a one inch drop, his rig looks good.
 
did u ever find the lowering springs? i got a 2x4 4runner that i want to lower untill i get the money to make it lay rocker like my s10.
 
y do all u hate on wanting to drop a 4runner. they look sic as fuck when there laid out. if it was a 4x4 id say lift ot to the sky but if its a 2x4 make it meet the earth.

the poster asked if, he should get it? meaning he is asking for 4R owner's opinion
and people have spoken. and there's nothing wrong if most people would disagree about the drop.
