yeah it debuted at sema 2004 in the junction produce booth. also was used in a campaign with falken and jtuned a about 10 years ago. :banana:

Took me a couple months to find this one but she's mine.
'12 Land Rover LR4 HSE LUX, super rare Fiji white with black interior combo. 375hp 5.0 V8. Immaculate one owner with 55k miles.
I was after a '12 or '13 as they moved to the SCV6 in '14, less hp and a foofoo V6, no thanks. My new wheels arrived today and I've got an apt next Thursday to throw on 2.5" lift, some OEM Land Rover 20's in satin black that I liked and 275/60-20 BFG KO2's. Go fast, go anywhere.

So right now my 4Runner is sitting between two Mercs, my wife's daily driver, a 2013 C300 4Matic with Nokian snow tires on it to the left and our CLS63 AMG which is sitting on a battery tender and off the insurance to the right. Currently the antique convertible is up the hill in the barn. Eventually (May?) the rag top will come out of the barn and the 4Runner will be kicked to the driveway and everything in the garage will be wearing a silver star... Summer is coming right? News says we're getting another 7-10" of snow up here over the weekend.

It's in the "garage" my friend. with...well at least one pic. It is a 1989 Mercedes Benz 560 SL, which is the R107 body style that ran from 1972-1989 (longest model without a refresh in MB History) this is the swan song 86-89 had the 5.6 liter V8. It was actually my Dad's dream car, so I have been around it since I was 10 years old. I've had it since 2012, Dad still has visitation rights though.

That was a pretty amazing time for Mercedes. Amazing that in 1989 they could make such an absolute turd like the 190E and on the other end make an absolute gem like the 560SL. When the weather turns and it's out of hiding, post some pics. Would love to see it.

No no I meant the Garage here on T4R underneath my avatar... though it is also up in the barn so that part is also correct. As for the ups and downs of Mercedes well there is a real good reason I own an 89 and an 07 dark days in the '90s for all the German manufacturers. I guess BMW and Porsche were maybe the least worst at the time, but Audi and Mercedes we downright awful. They came out of it right around the time they dumped Chrysler, odd coincidence that
