The shock cover is crushed at the top. Mine came the same way and now is being replaced under warranty. Should look like an accordion. But plan on a wait, I was told in April that shock would be ready in June and now being told August. I thought it would be an easy replacement of the cover, but they told me it would have to be the whole shock and currently is back-ordered.

I'm not sure why they think it needs to be replaced. It is just soft rubber/plastic, and can be worked back into shape easily.

I didn't really make a big deal about it, but then again I paid $42,000+. It's a soft plastic and it looks more defected than crashed.

Trail Editions delayed in Pacific NW

I put a deposit down for a 2020 Trail Edition in Nampa, Idaho. It was supposed to arrive on Oct 12. It's now Oct 25 and it's still not here. The story is that the 4Runners are complete and sitting at the Port of Portland, Oregon, waiting for the Yakima roof baskets. Apparently, they are on backorder and no one seems to know when they will arrive. The Toyota corporation was worthless when I called and asked them. They are delaying delivery for something I don't need to drive the car. I have called Ontario, Oregon, Portland, Oregon and Salt Lake...although Salt Lake is in a different region...the cars are delayed in all places. How stupid can a car company be?
