4Runner for sale...

Hate to say it, but I bought a new car on Saturday and I'm now looking to unload the 4Runner. It's been an awesome truck that I've always been really attached to, but after repairs over the last six months I decided it was time to turn to something more new. So since I'm in the market to sell it, I figured I'd post it up here first and see if anyone in northern California is interested.

The good news is that all the repairs have been done. It essentially has a new engine (Blew a head gasket last August; Now has new head gaskets, new valves, newly machined cylinder walls, etc.), Also has essentially new spark plugs (changed last November), new spark plug wires, new ignition coil, new starter, and also a new radiator and new timing(drive) belt.

Body is in good shape with a few small dings and/or scratches. Interior has a few stains and wear but is in pretty good shape considering it's a '96.

BFG Rugged Trail tires have about 30,000 miles on them, definitely still some tread left.

Only thing that really needs to be replaced at this point is the rear shocks. The sunroof interior sliding cover doesn't slide quite right and may need to be replaced as well (or possibly just fixed). Sunroof itself still works just fine . Also missing one plastic end cover on one of the running boards. Can be replaced at a dealer for around $20 I believe.

The truck itself is a 1996 4WD SR5 with about 181,000 miles, running boards, and black sport side trim(Don't know what else to call it). Has a few upgrades I did myself, such as the LED tail lights, but nothing too far away from stock.

Asking $6,000.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

Thanks!

No locker, just 4WD. I'm going to get it washed in the morning and then take some pics of it tomorrow. Will post them tomorrow afternoon/evening if I can get them ready fast enough.

PS: Actually after double checking tonight it is actually closer to 182,000 miles than 181,000. It's basically at 181,8XX for the moment, although I'm not planning on driving it much now short of going to get it washed, take pictures, and parking it back at the house. Just FYI.

Wow...Well those came out terrible. Let me see if I can find a way to make them look a bit better.

In the mean time, if you hold Ctrl on your keyboard and then press the - button several times it will zoom out your browser window and you can view them appropriately.

Here are appropriately sized pics.

And a few more...

They aren't necessarily the best quality, but they had to be a small enough file size to fit on here and should still give you an idea of what it's like.
