1994 4Runner. Needs something added I believe.

1999 SR5 4WD 4Runner with 155,000 miles. I just bought this to get me around on my post-retirement part-time job. It is generally in good shape with some issues. The 4WD didn't work because the vacuum line to the VSV was disconnected. Now it works. This is our 2nd 4Runner - we bought a new 2006 SR5. It now has 202,000 miles with nothing but tires and oil changes. It even still has the original brakes.

Here's a pic of my 4Runner with a new Shrockworks bumper. I believe it looks great. Hopefully we're get some sunny weather around here sometime soon, so I don't need to take all the pics in the rain...

The bumper is build to have a winch mounted behind/under it. I ended up getting a Warn Zeon 10-S Platinum Winch for it. The control module (the electronics) was mounted remotely due to space limitations. The control module is mounted under the hood over the drivers side wheel well with the Warn solenoid relocation mount kit.

This winch has a wireless remote, so I don't need to actually access the winch to use it. The clutch is engaged and disengaged with the remote. There is a small access window on the top of the bumper that will allow you to see and probably work a manual clutch lever but the light is mounted over the top of that window to it's not available.

I like that the winch is hidden from view and doesn't detract from the appearance of the 4Runner. While there is a fair amount of space under the front end, due to the new design, it does limit which winches can be used. So removing the control module was the only way to make it all fit. I've included a picture of the control module mount. This was originally sitting on top of the winch.

Just joined this forum as i purchased a 91 4runner RV6 yesterday. 3.0 V6 manual trans.. It came with 2 inches body lift and 33" tyres on 15x7 inch rims but i tossed them quick smart and chucked on a set of 15x10's with a negative 44 offset... Looks the trick and doesnt rub anywhere apart from the mud guards at full lock.. These will be coming off anyways.. so no loss!

1st shot is with old rims.. 15x7's
2nd shot is with 15x10s..
