I bought a 97 sr5 on August 1st. It was a mint one owner. I have big plans for it even ordering a lift kit, big tires and rims and was having a buddy get me a hilux rear wing. That all changed August 14.
I am not going to go Into a lot of details but I was in a bad single car wreck. I hit a billboard pole on a highway at 70 mph. Head on but on the passenger side. If it wasn't for how stout these things are I would be dead. Luckily I have no broken bones , internal bleeding or organ damage. I did however rip my internal and external oblique muscles from my hip bones on my right side. I was in the hospital for about a month and underwent a major reconstructive surgery to repair my muscles. I'm lucky to be alive and thankful everyday for that.
I will post photos of my rig when I can. It's completely twisted into a pretzel. Please everyone drive safe out there and respect the roads. Looking to get into another t4r soon it was a blast while I owned it.
