that wasn't quite me, but i did the same on Saturday at the top of the storm in D.C.

To Hell with the politicians telling me not to go out...i aint in no grocery-gettin, soccer-mom ridin, Intuitive All Wheel drivin, Super Handling AWD'in Cross over...

Now out of my way, im blazin a trail ovah here...and i aint got time to slow down for any non-Toyo (and jeep wrangler or Ram pwr wagon-RESPECT DUE) 4wd vehicle that doesnt have the balls to handle a few feet of fresh powder.

That would be quite a site in the boroughs. We have a few expedition ready Toyotas running around(mostly 4Runners and LCs), but nothing like that.

Otherwise, it's a bunch of Jeep-wave weirdos thinking they are hot shit because they feel manly as they pull the 4WD lever in their stock Wrangler Saharas through a slushy road. There was a guy that literally kept going back and forth on the block thinking he had an advantage over the Camry driving past him. That and Range Rover drivers following too damn close on the same slushy roads(I love and drive LRs new and old but I'm not part of their average wanker driver club). They get mad once I engage 4LO and drive at 4LO speeds. Just maintaining a speed that correlates to their following distance after all.

I made it out about 3pm on the day of the storm. Got to play a little but in Manhattan but the street weren't as bad as out in Brooklyn and queens since they were getting plowed more frequently. I went and dropped my buddy off in Forest hills In Queens the next day and they definitely got more snow out there! The little side street were much worse and there were a couple streets that the plows didn't touch not even once. There was now way I would of been able to get thru them with my 33's and now where to run a winch line lol! They stuff he was doing looked fun though! Couple pics...

i drove 45 miles on 95 north and only saw 3 other vehicles. 2 tire ruts and whiteout conditions. Wish I was in my 3rd gen but was in my plow truck.

i dunno about ya'llz, but the guy wasn't getting through too well.

i know i'm being anal but, i hope he was in 4 Low and ideally had a locker too.. notice he would accelerate to pretty decent RPM's when stuck and trying to get out multiple times in the video... NOT good for the truck.

Did you air down at all to drive around town? Even with 33'2 you should have been good if you were down to around 15psi. I would have just hit it. Nice looking 4Runner man.

No i didn't air down at all. I just went out the run some errands before everything closed up early for the night and just had some fun while i was doing it! If i was snow wheeling for real on the trail then yes i would have definitely aired down..

Really confused as to how the road is untouched by plows and covered in snow. but the cars are completely cleaned off?:redbrick:
