H11: MORIMOTO ELITE HID SYSTEM, The Retrofit Source
I received new HIDS for the 4Runner today. They are sourced from

The reviews were fantastic, and the system could with a 5 year warranty if you purchase the 35 watt system, or 3 year warranty for you buy the 55 watt ballast.
To make this easy for you want to buy the same thing here is the list of what I chose.
-35 watt Ballast ( believe me plenty bright)
-XB Igniter (no other choice)
-H11B 5500k (B is our bulb size, I choose 5500k because it is what "factories" usually choose)
-HD Relay H11
-We do not need the "anti-flicker" ( called the guys up there to confirm this)
-I did not get the carbon fiber bracket, it comes with one.
The package didn't come with instructions, but where you order that parts from on the same page is the instructions how to hook everything up.
The it was packed tight in the box, and everything was packaged very professional.
I did run into a slight problem in the beginning, some pieced were not connected together, for reasons I do not know. I called the retrofit source up and they were really helpful. It doesn't matter on our year which way they are plugged in, this is a universal kit and some times the plugs go different ways. You put the orange grommet over the wires and slip them into the plastic retainer till you feel a click.
So the install was straight forward, and easy once I figured out where I wanted the wires to run.
First you need to remove the plastic cover on the back of the headlights and drill a hole. The instructions call for a 22mm drill bit, I didn't have one of those but I did have a 18mm drill bit. I drilled it and used a dermal to make it a little bigger, worked great, I am sure you could use a file or just buy the drill bit, up to you.

The bulb wire has a little notch that plugs straight into the bulb, also plug the other wire that the original bulb was hooked up to, and close everything up.
There really isn't anywhere to install the ballast, on the passenger side so I removed the plastic cover that covers the radiator. I will eventually be installing a second battery, so I did not want to clutter up the space behind the headlight. Pictures are horrible, but here is the best place to install the ballast, and relays. I am going to go to the hardware store and get a bolt and nut, the zip ties are just for the time being. The next step really is not necessary, but I tend to over do everything I work on. I cover the wires that ran across with some wire loom that I had laying around, then shot it across the front.
Onto the driver side. There is a bolt that is coming thru up beside the head light on the other side of the radiator. It is just a support for some wires, so nothing to worry about. There is a bolt underneath that looks like it should line up, but it doesn't. So for not it is just 1 bolt holding it together, I will add another one, but seems fine for now.
Here is the top where the power wire is ran to. I wish the power wires were just a little it longer so I could make it a little bit cleaner, but once everything is buttoned up you can hardly tell.
