Cheesy pic but we stopped for some snacks and tour of the new visitor center, always a treat to feast on the Tillamook county cows offerings but the new facility is definitely worth the stop!

We'll be getting a real awning eventually, but that $250 could go towards skid plates or other upgrades first. The tarp was a free-bie from Harbor Freight, same with the bungees holding it. :thumb3:

Not my 4-runner but just got back from Kauai and snapped this pic(not sure if this is a first rev 5th gen ?). The top local car seemed to be the 5 gen 4-runner on the island.

I went up Poughkeepsie Gulch today and did NOT take the bypass around the main trail. It was a great. I attempted The Wall 3 times, but just couldn't get my tires not to spin due to the water at the base. I didn't want to be winched up. It just didn't seem right to me. Went around The Wall and continued the trail over to Hurricane Pass and then on down Corkscrew Gulch. Poughkeepsie is now my favorite trail up here in Ouray. I feel like I've actually been off-roading after doing it.

Shhh, according to most guides there is no bypass, keeping the stupid SxS traffic off this trail.

Hang a little to the left of where you are in the pic, carry a little momentum, use lockers if you got em, and spend 5-10 minutes at the bottom of the wall hanging out, maybe lowering tire pressure to 8psi while they dry out.

The JEEP guys hate it when I drive up the wall at 4mph without slowing down or spinning a tire after they spend 20 minutes trying, spinning, backing up, trying again, spinning, and finally winching their way up.
