ps: You can buy a "livable" home in Trona, California for $20,000.

I guess prices have gone up. Used to be you could buy one for the cost of unpaid property taxes. I knew a guy who lived there, and said something like 5 out of 8 houses on his block had been burned down by tweakers.

But there's cool rocks in the area. And once you've been to the pinnacles, you'll recognize them in dozens of movies and commercials.
