Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming

We drove on Hwy 130 through Medicine Bow last week on your way back from watching the Eclipse. I will visit again as it was full of great scenery, lakes and dispersed camping sites.

Been a few years since I've been up to these neck of the woods. Now that I'm finally able to put some money into my truck and get some decent tires I can't wait to get up in this area and start exploring again. I used to camp a lot on the sand banks just before the Elaho turn off as a starting off point and have been dying to show my wife this area since we met. Perhaps I'll see you up there soon!

Early morning departure from a weekend of camping next to the Kettle River in B.C.

All the trees in the background and up the mountains are charred from a wildfire that engulfed the area back in 2015. After returning home last night we found out some dumbass sparked another wildfire in the mountains across the highway from where we were camping. Even with the fire ban we witnessed a lot of stupidity this weekend :tsk:
