Great shot again! How bad is the smoke these days in the High Sierra? Smoke from the huge number of fires in Idaho and Washington states almost scrapped my trip last year.

It really depends where you are going. Near Yosemite it's bad. It's almost like thick fog in places. I had to drive to San Francisco for work, and the skies were very dark from the fire further North.

The Sierra overall wouldn't be bad, but there are definitely a few sections that would be.

I took the first photos a couple years ago at the "Charles Nelson House" in Dufur, OR. It is often referred to as the most photographed house in Oregon. There is quite the history behind it which may have just had it's final chapter. I took the after pictures this past weekend. The house burned up in the recent "Substation" fire that I believe torched over 50k acres.
