At the top of the Sand Dam at Superstition Mt. So much fun in the dunes and washes after the recent rains. The blooms are already starting to pop out in Anza Borrego.

Last August, hanging out amongst the saplings in the Prairie Creek Redwood State park. The trees are large.

I've got to make a stop there one of these days. I've driven past it hundreds of times, but when I'm in that areas I'm almost always in hurry to get somewhere else.

Then do yourself a favor and drive Savoy Road (RM 7A) to get to Trona Pinnacle from the south. It is gorgeous downhill in the sandy canyon.
