Just drove out of Big Bend National Park. Spent 2 nights in the park and camped in primitive sites. First site was the Loop Camp, which is along River Rod and on the south bank of the Rio Grande River. Here is a shot of the 4Runner at the campsite.
Here is a shot of the river from the campsite. Looking north, the low area with green vegetation is Mexico and the higher ground areas are Texas. The river loops around at this point, so Mexico is actually north of Texas for a small stretch of the river.
Second day, I drove the Old Ore Road. Camped at Telegraph Canyon campground, about halfway through the road.
A shot along the road. This road was a bit more challenging than the River Road.
