Our remote cabin in the Sierras, the main reason we bought our 1999 SR5 back in 2008. We just bought a 2022 TRD ORP and plan on getting the same photo for Then and Now 4Runner shot.

Big Bend Ranch Texas State Park

3-hour off-road drive to the most remote campsite in the park - Guale#2

This was the most remote, isolated, spot I've ever been. When the 50mph gusts started, it created a dust storm which really made this place look other-worldly. The wind blocked out the sun and turned the light to orange red. When the full moon came out it looked amazing. When we arrived at the site we could not make camp, we could barely walk or see outside. Unfortunately, the wind gusts lasted all night and rocked the truck back and forth like an angry sasquatch. Combined with the 9 hour trip to the park and the 3 hour snail paced drive to the campsite, we spent about 24hrs in the truck. Luckily, there was enough room to lay down in the back and ride out the wind. Looking back, it seems cool but at the time my 10 yr old was pretty overcome by the whole thing.
