That is called Vedauwoo. I went to the University of Wyoming (Laramie), and we used to go there in the summer for recreating and picnics.

Forest Service Road 491, off Highway 6, 15 miles east of Tonopah, NV.

Did some off-roading this evening in the Sapphire range on the east side of the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. Started at East Fork (Bitterroot River) and came out at Rye Creek Rd just south of Chief Joseph Ranch which was used as the set for Yellowstone. We drove the 2014 SR5 while has 379.3K miles on it.
