Owner is trying to be clever and hide the sag by taking angled pics from down low. I'm sure the interior is trashed too since they didn't post any pics. As for the price....hahaha, maybe the owner thinks if he asks for 10k, some dipshit will offer him 8k and feel like they are getting a steal.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone bought it for $8000. I had a guy at the dealership offer me $7000 for mine when I took it in for service.

I would get so irritated with the pricing and BS when I was shopping for one. I had a guy tell me the suspension alone was worth Kelly blue book. It had yellow Bilsteins and spacers front and back.

haha yeah, suspension is suspension unless its a set of fancy coilovers or bypass shocks, amd custom links.

he must have bought those flares, they didnt come on the 01-02. also it comes with factory front and rear differential, and center locker is what he means haha. same color as mine, kind of rare.

I wouldn't call the 3.4l strong. Even with the 5 speed manual it's pretty slow to me. That's coming from a guy who absolutely loves 4runners.

I don't exactly see the correlation between strong and fast.

I also don't see why some feel the need for the 4Runner to be any faster or knock it because it isn't. Frankly, going anywhere north of 65mph in mine scares the crap out of me which is fast enough to get into plenty of trouble to begin with.

I will run faster than 65 for sure, though I am all stock, no lift. But I don't think of it as quick or fast. I drive my truck conservatively, or, as my wife says, like a grandma.

nothing more than a trailer hitch and the plug wired.
compared to some cars its nothing. Some cars when says factory tow package it will include heavy duty brakes , external trans cooler, some even had a different automatic....but not yota

Yeah I noticed that too. It's gonna be pretty bogged down with those 33's to I would assume.

The way it reads to many is the 3.4L pulls like the V8 in the 4th gens, which it certainly doesn't, but yes it is a very strong motor. It'll run for forever and you'll get up and over whatever it is even if it takes a while with a lot of down shifting...:thumb3:

Something's wrong if 65 mph is scary in your 4Runner. I won't run much over 70 mph in mine just because my gas mileage takes a shard dive down at that point. She's steady way past 70 though.

I drive very conservatively too, you can see the difference in the gas mileage for sure.

The 3.4 is a good motor, my 2WD 4R is pretty quick for what it is, its not fast compared to my other cars but the 4Runner does the job it was designed for extremely well.
