Sorry bud, the face of the 4th gen radio is about 8 1/16 inch wide. The 3rd gen has a double din, which is 7 1/4 inch I think

I hear you can fit a SCION (Alpine) radio in the 3rd gen just fine.

Plus the 05 had a number of problems with the CD player, etc. Consumer Reports confirms this.
