4x4 driving !?

This 2008 V8 LTD is my first "real deal" 4x4 and I must confess ignorance regarding the 4x4 driving system and controls.
Where to find a good primer on the use of the 4x4 system on this machine?

You can start here, but there is much more to learn about 4WD in general including the different types of differentials and how they work along with the ability to lock/unlock the center transfer case.

Yeah, when to and when not to lock the center diff, how to use the downhill assist, etc. takes a little research. I tried to blast through a pretty deep mudhole in 4Hi when I first got the truck. That didn't work so well.....
