4x4 engaged light

I have a 1998, does a 4x4 icon light up in the instument cluster when engaged in 4x4? Previous 4x4 trucks that ive owned had the little 4x4 icon and im suprised that the 4runner dosent?

Yes there is a 4x4 light. On my 98 it is a green light in the lower right side of the instrument cluster. shows 4 tires and the top ones are turned to the right.

well i think i have a problem. i engage it and i see no light in the cluster. :dammit:

any suggestions, anyone with similar problem?

If the wheels engage, i wouldnt really care too much for tge light, change the bulb if you care that much.

Thanks for the advice john. Paint not faded, no rust, and the interior is clean and intact. First nice 4x4 rig, just want to keep it that way. If this was my 4x4 92 pickup, than it wouldnt be a problem.
