5100's installed, what a difference

I had a productive weekend and finally got my 5100's and FJ coil swap done. I am running at the 1.75" setting. Right now she has a .5" larger gap in the rear. Hopefully the front will settle a bit. Also tried Plastidip for the first time. Two coats of black and two Anthracite with a light shot of clear. Learned alot about the truck and overall it was a pretty good experience. Truck is getting an alignment right now, hopefully they can free up one of the adjusters that I couldn't get to move. The ride feels great, stock size Limited Duractracs.

The ride is a big difference. I had stock springs with kyb's but switching to fj coils and billies made such difference. I have the same set up but put spacers in the rear to level it out. Enjoy!

So my alignment didn't go so well. I had a frozen rear lower control arm eccentric on my passenger side rear. Really struggled to get the new suspension on that side. Well after seeing my alignment specs, what are my options now? Keep soaking with PB Blaster and see if a shop can air hammer the bolt out? Caster doesn't effect tire wear, so I am trying to decide how big a deal this really is. Thanks for the help.

so your rear LCA camber bolts are frozen?
hmmm...you can keep working on them with penetrating oil and wrenching/impacting them back and forth.
Or take a reciprocating saw to the camber bolts and order new camber bolts, and while you're at it, LCA bushings.
If you do happen to free the stuck camber bolts, it would be a good idea to remove the bolt and generously apply anti-seize.
I have 3 out of 4 of my old OEM camber bolts left over from when I did my lift. I replaced all 4 with new OEM. Let me know if you need them.
Good luck

After getting a few miles on the new alignment, it actually drives really nice. Straight wheel, no pull, and the steering is light but not scary. The highway may be a different story.

Any feedback in the wheel from roadway bumps? Not bump steer but slight movement when driving over bumps?

Steering response seems fine. I just borrowed a air compressor and I am going to give my stuck eccentric another attempt. Between my snap-on half inch impact, and a air hammer, hopefully it will break loose.

Congrats! I also have a similar setup. 5100's all around and just got the alignment done. However, the left camber bolts are frozen. The mechanic says to replace the bushings. Hmm..
