5th Gen 3rd row seats

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know if the 5th Gen 3rd row seats will fit in a 4th gen 4runner? If they do, are they just drop in or is there a lot of modification.

The seats are from a 2013 and the 4th gen is a 2006/2007.

I don't see how they could possibly fit without massive work and cutting. I thought the 4th gen had those removable folding seats, the 5th gen are totally different.

They will not fit. I "retrofitted" 3rd row seats in a 4th gen Sport that did not come with them and I currently drive a 5th gen Unlimited with 3rd row. The mounting types are completely different. 4th gen are jump seats that latch out and the 5thgen fold down and in to the cargo area.
