5th Gen 4Runner Group 34 Battery Install

I know this install is pretty straight forward but I made a video since I didnt see one online. I hoped I helped someone out.

My next video will be about the differences between group 31 and group 34 battteries. Comparing all the ins and outs from features such as CCA and amp hours etc.., what they actually mean and how your specific accessories will favor one group over the other.

October will be five years of ownership, original battery, being in Miami, it is in the heat a lot of days in the year. Want to replace it before I am forced to, lol.

Since you live in Florida I wouldnt consider cold cranking amps in your decision. I would recommend a 34r for basic purposes and some leeway in using a fair amount of accessories. If you have a winch or fridge 31 is the better option or a dual battery setup.

It has been 20 years since I bought a battery, lol, and it was an Optima if I recall for my f-350. So loss some knowledge and out of the loop.

I jsut been reading about the 31 v 34 v 24, and some normal versus the AGM or whatever it called. Seems I will jsut go with the 34 like in your video, same brand and everything seems to be the popular one unless running some electric drawing things, which I will not be doing other than maybe an aux lighting.
