I feel the same way. Hopefully next year! It took me a few years to finally make the FJ summit, which is a lot closer to me. Seemed like every year something would come up and I would have to change my plans.

I know the feeling. All of the western stuff is too far away for me to make it a reasonable long weekend trip. I think I may do Mardi-Crawl in NW Alabama next year instead of Lone Star Jamboree. They are a month apart from each other but it would difficult for me to budget 2 months in a row of this kind of trip. But I hate to miss Jambo because it has been an annual event for me since buying the 4Runner.
